Is Confra only for Web3 clients?

Definitely not. We already work with clients in fintech, eCommerce and marketing, and will move in to other industries based on client demand, including iGaming, AI, SaaS, Cloud, Cyber-security, HealthTech, CleanTech, etc.

What kind of clients are Confra right for?

We work best with two types of clients:

  • If you 1) make over 5-figures from each new client and
  • 2) have a broad addressable market (eg. all exchanges, all token projects, all blockchains)
Do we get to approve the BD that represents us?

Yes! The first step in the onboarding process is for you to interview the BD to ensure they’re the right fit.

If I like a BD, can they represent us across multiple conferences?

Yes! The model works best when a BD represents a client across multiple conferences. Their ability to qualify customers, pitch your company, and deliver a high volume of qualified, quality leads will increase with each additional conference.

How do you select your BD?

Confra BD must be technical, Web3-native, and top decile BD. They need to credibly represent an MPC wallet provider at one conference and a KYC as a Service provider at the next. To find these BD, Confra leverages our extensive Web3 network to talk to many (many) BD, identify those that meet our rigorous standards, align to our customers’ needs, know how to operate in target regions, and then onboard them.

If I like a Confra BD, can I hire them?

Sure! Confra BD are free agents - if we can facilitate a long-term relationship between client and BD, we’re happy to do so. In that case, Confra charges an industry standard recruiter’s fee.

What is Confra’s pricing model?

Confra has two fees: a Conference Fee, which covers everything related to preparing for and attending the conference (BD onboarding, BD time at the conference, flights, accommodation, per diem, conference tickets), and a Success Fee, based on number of qualified leads delivered and revenue generated from those leads.

Why do you charge both a lead fee and rev share?

We charge a Lead Fee for meetings booked with qualified leads. The client sets the qualification criteria. We charge a lead fee because a) there’s real value in a lead and 2) we want to make sure our BD get compensated for doing their job, even if a client isn’t able to close a good lead.

Does Confra follow up leads after the conference?

No. Confra is for top of funnel lead generation only. At the end of the conference, the BD will deliver Telegram groups with you and the lead included, a spreadsheet with the relevant client information, and their observations about the conference. From that point, it will be up to you to follow up and close the leads.

Do Confra BD have full-time jobs?

No. Confra BD are ‘free agents’ that can take on a variety of project work across different clients, one of whom happens to be Confra. Often Confra BD are ex-founders, creating a new company, in between roles or just enjoy the flexibility of project work.
